DealGirls.com Shopping Blog: June 10th, 2004, How to Find the Best Bargains

The current issue of our favorite magazine, Glamour, came out today! We love Glamour - it is cool, hip and arguably has more interesting articles then other comparable magazines. We love everything about it - the cute fashion ideas, new perfume suggestions and everything in between.

This issue also had great ideas on getting bargains on everything from makeup to clothing to trips to more. Glamour has an issue every year, where they discuss everything bargain. Here at DealGirls.com it's bargains all the time, but we always like to see other places promoting the ideas of bargains, specials, coupons and general money saving.

Here are some of our bargain hunting tips:

• Wait for sales. Yes, that cute pink tank top is going to be on sale very soon; give it a few weeks. And if not, there will be many other tops on sale, we promise :) See out Outlets sections for more deals and sales



• Compare prices! Some places may have the same things cheaper, but you will never know till you compare. Shop smart and compare prices!



• Shop online and use coupons! Yes, sometimes prices are better online. And, they are even better with coupons. Bookmark and use Discounts and Savings Club to find coupons and specials



• Check out the Clearance Rack! Sometimes the best values are there; in your size, in your favorite color, but 50%+ cheaper.



• Know when to shop. You know how they say that you shouldn't go grocery shopping when you are hungry? You shouldn't go shopping for clothing when you "really need" to buy something either. Shop when you have a clear head, so that you can evaluate values and walk away if the deal just isn't good enough.
